Winter, Meteorological Winter

The first sunrise of meteorological winter and already in the mountains surrounding our valley it is snowing. Here it is a balmy 47 degrees at 5:06 am. By the timer he sun rises at 7:07 am according to the weather channel the average is expected to be 46. (For some reason it the local weather man says here the sun rises at 7:08 am and we are loosing daylight to deep winter soon.) I imagine the sun coming out coupled with the air patterns generated by traffic combined with 25 mph winds off the water would stir quite the nor’easter Outside and thanks to this 1.25 meters rule we’re all blowing around inside like leaves and snowflakes doing the DC Two-Step around a café before I’ve had a proper chai.
